My name is Conor Whiteley, and while I have a basic college education, there’s not a lot more to note than that. I have no certifications, no professional associations and no credentials to speak of. I am not a published writer. however I have been writing as a hobby for most of my life. I work in technical fields and have a background in instrumentation. My interests are largely in humanity, arts and science. That may sound vague and it is. Truthfully, I really just enjoy learning and sharing thoughts. Which is where we are today. Virtually everything I write about will be from personal experience, if there is a need for an outside source, I will do my best to include it. I must make it fundamentally clear that I am not an expert on anything, my understanding of the world is very limited. I am curious about the way the world works and I am constantly trying to learn more about it. I am also somewhat convinced much of what I know is wrong and it’s worth challenging my knowledge regularly.
My only intention is to provide a few interesting notions, experiences and thought experiments for those interested in such things and nothing more. Initially this will be a roll out of a series of thoughts and realizations I’ve come to during the process of learning how to write. There will also be a few forays into beliefs, social norms and culture. I may also publish a few short stories here. If you are looking for advice, there are better places to find it.
